GS TMT is a great spot to be for blue chip deals and PE recruiting, but everyone there is quite competitive (have to be to get to that group) and you will get worked to the bone
Interned, now joining FT in NY TMT.
This is just wrong, couldn't be more of the opposite. Most people at the junior level are friendly, outgoing and collaborative. The culture is surprisingly heavily reliant on people helping each other out. I would also say that there is a work hard play hard attitude and a lot of analysts like to go out together.
The hours are tough but the people/culture make it bearable, alongside the exit opportunities and reputation.
What exactly is the point of this post? If you get into one of the best banking groups, you’re going to accept whether the culture is awesome or not. And likely you won’t get in, so don’t worry about the culture.
dude I see ur name on so many posts and every single time its some super weird personal attacks lol. Ur an absolute weirdo and loser bro like it blows my mind
