GS TMT NY vs SF
Anyone know the main differences between these?
I’d imagine they work on different deals like SF focus on software and tech while NY more telecoms or media.
Is this true? Which is more prestigious?

The biggest difference I would say is that one is located in NY and the other is located in SF

SF TMT is mostly tech (some media / entertainment too, think they did the EA / PIF and Endeavor / SLP deals). NY TMT is predominantly Media / Telecom, with some tech (~30%, mostly software)
