Guggenheim reputation 2023

Wondering about Guggenheim's reputation in 2023. Seems like they are poaching top MDs from other banks and are starting to advise on larger deals. Curious about comp, exit opps, and general business outlook (specifically for NYC office).

Funniest

It’s a pretty cool museum. Maybe a bit overrated just because of the architecture.

Personally, I’d recommend visiting the Met first. Amazing diversity of art, great layout, so much to see. The MoMA does a better job at what Guggenheim tries to do, in terms of modern art.

Hope this helps.

Guggenheim has always advised on large transactions historically in TMT / HC but the major change I've seen as an outside observer is these large transactions have expanded to other industry groups and deal volume has increased dramatically from the MM practice

At my MF, we certainly interview Guggenheim analysts mainly based on undergrad / GPA (group not considered unless in capital markets)
