I have a friend there. Not sure much about his work culture but he has always been a studious person from what I know about him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he worked long hours. He is friendly and likely enjoyable to work with for what that is worth. He came to Gugg RX through its acquisition of millstein I believe. By the time millstein was acquired and he joined gugg as a result I think he was already an associate (a2a promote) and may be a VP now. Feels like he has advanced/been promoted on a nice timeline but can’t speak to any potential exit ops about them beyond that. I do have some personal/friend experience with other gugg exit ops from non-RX people which have been good in my humble opinion but not so sure about the RX practice there so much. Just trying to provide some helpful info to the extent I can :)

Have some friends that exited the group. From what I can tell, mostly made up of millstein guys (acquired in 2018) as well as some from miller buckfire. Team is pretty collegial, deal teams are on large side, senior people don't help with exits. That being said exits seem pretty good - Ares, KLS, Davidson Kempner, Catalur, CVC, PIMCO, etc. Heard lifestyle is pretty nice as far as RX goes. Don't know anything about lateral process, but I do know they interview RX summer ana / asc separately from generalist pool.
