Guys, seriously stop asking for Hirevue questions
It seems to be every other post on the SA threads and every other thread in this forum is begging for hirevue questions. You all need to stop. Like seriously there aren't many things that are more beta than being frightened to take a few behaviorals. Not to mention that this clogs the IB forum and kicks meaningful topics down.
Thank you for this.
Love the name, but you're still not as cool as Gemstone CDO VI
Don't disagree, but using "beta" and "let's have a go at it" is so cringey hahahahaha
Cringy posts are needed when people do cringy things lol
poo for them
SB for you
....any time I hear ANYONE calling people 'beta' I want to murder them with a pick axe
im a beta male
.
He's being sarcastic you moron.
Totally agree with the OP, though.
What's even more annoying is that kids keep writing new posts asking for HireVue questions. It's already stupid enough to ask for them, but FFS at least do it on one of the 20+ existing threads about JPM. I hope JPM HR is reading WSO and realizes how dumb their candidates are going to be this year.
LOL
Says the guy that got rejected LOL.
Dont think JPM has announced superday invites yet. Recruiting is pushed back this year
How else am I suppose to roast people and farm SBs
The dumbest part is that if you can't do a Hirevue easy behavioral question that gives you two tries, how do you possibly expect to survive a superday? Think about Hirevue's like training for an in person interview, and you aren't getting any practice if you know the question in advance and already have an answer prepared. Have fun looking like a bumbling idiot on a super day when you get a question you weren't prepared for.
Wouldn't be surprised if these kids book a later superday and then ask help from people from earlier superday.
how many superdays are they normally? I hope I get the invite for the first one.
Do none of these kids have friends they could ask to get the questions from? If you're going to do it you might as well have some semblence of social skills.
Thats the paradox of IB, so many kids think they can do it simply bc they're a harvard 4.0, when in reality most MD's are former frat bros that are professional socialites who learned finance along the way
many non-targets dont know anyone else trying for IB hence they cant discuss things with anyone. target kids know a geeky kid that can do the psychometrics. just how things work
Just make a fake email, fake resume, and screenshot the hirevues from employers after you fill out your fake applications. You kids suck at finessing
Honestly, why don't people just respond to those hirevue posts with joke/wrong answers. Here was one of mine. "How many hamsters can you fit in a 737?" Answer: As many as you want, but at some point the plan will explode if you mix the genders in there and let them have privacy/fun.
Point well taken - I just hope you don't get grilled on the difference between "then" and "than"...
edited- thanks
