Had BAML Palo Alto SA Superday 9/26, have yet to hear back, denied?

Hey guys, title is pretty self explanatory. Had a superday at baml Palo Alto late September, found out that one guy in my group got an offer, but ended up turning them down for JPM/GS. The rest of us haven't heard back.

Would you say it's safe to assume I got waitlisted or denied? I reached out and the guy I spoke with basically mentioned how it was pretty selective this year so I shouldn't stop recruiting until I hear back definitively. Reached out to someone slightly higher up and basically asked if he'd be willing to quickly go over with me anything I could work on going into other processes if BAML doesn't work out, but reiterated it's my top choice--was basically told to wait until Monday to hear a decision one way or another.

Thoughts?
