hamilton lane analyst job
I think it's funny that this nobody advisory firm writes this on their job posting:
• BA/BS required (Economics, Accounting, Business or Finance preferred). THOSE THAT HAVE EARNED A GRADUATE DEGREE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
as if having a grad degree is the end of the world, these people are close minded morons, I know kids who are 22 with an MSF degree if they are so worried about age
I've seen that on many job postings. It's b/c they consider those w/ graduates to be over qualified (read: expensive) for the analyst spot (even though there are probably many grad degrees that are willing to take this spot).
Not the only firm that explicitly states this.
Ya, I would probably just not list the grad degree and apply.
Actually, Hamilton Lane is a pretty large private equity fund of fund. Like Harbourvest...
But yeah agree with the others when they say it's cause they think grad students are overqualified. Just take off the degree in the resume...
Who gives a shit? It's Hamilton lane ..
The nobody morons have $96 billion in total assets under management and supervision and 115 employees, not bad for morons...
thanks for the job referral
