Has any of you ever thought about dating an actress or singer now that you're in ibanking?

I've seen a trend of many famous girls like actresses, TV Show hosts, and singers dating investment bankers (Chelsea Clinton, Emma Watson, Andrea Corrs, Nancy Grace, Al Gore's daughter, George W Bush's niece, etc...) Has any of you making north of $200k+ ever thought about going after an actress or singer, in the NYC area? I know, $200k is no big deal at all, but the potential to make millions is definitely there. Any of you ever thought about going after a famous actress/singer who's in her 20s? They shouldn't be too hard to miss especially if you live in Manhattan or hang around elite bars, restaurants, or clubs.

DO you have any idea what an insignificant pimple you are on the back of global finance? Dude, if you have 5 minutes outside of sleeping and working for your first two years as an analyst, it certainly won't be used beating away the celebrities that you imagine will be falling over themselves to date you. It may be used beating though...

this is the same loser who brought us "Prostitution & IBanking" and "So did all you 1st Year Analysts go out and buy a low-end BMW or what?" so this guy's either a troll or just has a really messed up view of the banking lifestyle.

twilightgirl, admit it - you got into banking b/c you thought it would help land a date with the dude from twilight.

you'd be surprised how many college students out there have a "messed up view of the banking lifestyle" and the kind of stuff we're fed on a daily basis. of course it all changes once you're actually working in the industry. im just trying to set things straight.

Anyone going into banking for the "lifestyle" does not deserve the job (and should probably get his/her brain checked).

Better idea would be to marry a banker's daughter, and by that I mean Bulge Bracket MD/Group Head or above, and use her to further your career.

You know you've been working too hard when you stop dreaming about bottles of champagne and hordes of naked women, and start dreaming about conditional formatting and circular references.

yah as soon as I joined banking, I got access to the inside list of celebrity lists. I tend to date an actress a week or so.

lol this is jokes

Why would you ever want to date an actress? I know like 10 female friends who are better looking than 70% of female actresses, and are nicer people too. So the only reason to date an actress is because you want to be a douche and show her off like some sort of cool sports car. No one wants to date a tool like that anyway. Don't be that kind of person, in the real world no one likes a shallow loser who only cares about cars, money, and some sort of stupid actress-dating fantasy.

The last act is tragic, however happy all the rest of the play is; at the last a little earth is thrown upon our head, and that is the end for ever.
