Someone I know is a higher up there. He said it is fine working there until you are high enough to have to deal with Calamos himself. Interpret that as you will.
How competitive to get in?
I think they take a couple straight out of undergrad, but not many. Some years they have interns, other years they don't. Not sure about the quality of the few they take out of undergrad though.
They have a solid Growth and Income fund, for what it's worth.
