Has the train left the station?

I've always been horrible at time management.

I got born a day later than I was scheduled to. I wrote my college apps the day they were due, and by some crazy stroke of luck I got into a target university. I came in undecided (I could always decide later lol), and took a bunch of classes in geography and stats because they were cool. When I was going home for Thanksgiving last year, I missed my flight (I miss roughly half my flights because I always underestimate how long it takes to get to the airport), and got placed on a later flight next to a random Asian dude with a math pun t-shirt. Thought it was funny, so I talked to him. Turns out he was a "quant", whatever that meant. FFW a few months, he ends up referring me to his firm, I somehow land the offer (thanks, random stats coursework!), and I join for this summer. YEET.

Now I'm halfway done with my internship, and pretty confident I'll get the return. I love this firm and it's well-recognized, but I wanna try IB. Turns out finance recruiting is way earlier than I thought, and I've already missed most deadlines for """elite boutiques""".

Wat do, friendos? Recruiting for junior internship rn, do I still have a shot with IB? What respectable banks are still open? Only considering banks with clout because my middle school bully is at Evercore and I don't want to feel less than him ._.
