Have you ever seen your background check

Just submitted a background check form and said that residents in California, Minnesota, and Oklahoma can request to get a copy of their report. I am not from these states so I was just curious if anybody had ever actually seen their own report. Does it actually include “general character and mode of living?”

I saw mine last year and it was pretty detailed.

1- Social security verification

2- Previous Employment (dates and title)

3- Education (dates, degrees, and GPA)

4- Criminal History (local search performed based on previous addresses and at federal level)

5- Consumer reports (credit cards, assets, revolving balance etc)

They don’t really check anything else beyond that. Maybe a quick social media check so make sure that when you Google your name nothing weird comes up)

I’m from MN and always request to see them. My SA one was more intense than any of the other ones. The ones I’ve seen confirm my job title and dates and who hr talked to. Sometimes they ask the school to confirm dates. For me personally, the country, state, and federal criminal part just says no record found bc I don’t have anything.
