Haven't Heard from HHs Yet for On-Cycle

Several friends at my bank (in worse groups as it relates to PE placement) and other banks have gotten outreach from HHs for on-cycle, but I have yet to receive anything. Does this go out in waves or am I just considered a lower tier candidate? I'm at a better group/bank but they went to HYPW and I did not, so wondering if that's playing a role...

If you know for a fact that a HH reached out to people at your bank (and make sure this is legit, not some WSO rumor) just email an associate from the firm. They should all have emails on website / LinkedIn so just pick someone junior who covers PE. Send a polite email that you’re looking to recruit for PE and want to be included in their process, some highlights on you (school, bank, etc), resume attached. If you dont hear back in a few days pick a different one.

Especially if you have a tricky name or a unique email, not uncommon to miss outreach and I wouldn’t over read into it. I had 2 headhunters miss me initially and other friends had a handful miss them as well (though all different headhunters). This is why it’s important to discuss with your peers, make sure you are checking in on who has reached out.

However, make sure you’re positive they’ve actually sent their intro emails otherwise you’ll look dumb. My understanding is they use mass emailers that may go bank by bank or alphabetic, so be a bit patient. That being said, definitely don’t be scared to reach out if it’s been a few days and you know the analysts next to you have received it

Can we get a solid list going of which HHs have reached out already? Seems like it's been picking up the past week which could be a signal for September

Anyone else not heard from the first 3? I'm at a bank probably bordering on high-quality on-cycle looks, but have heard from CPI, Ratio, etc.

Wondering if I should contact the ones I haven't heard from and try to get in, or if they just save the worst for last lmao
