Haven't Secured a Summer 2017 Investment Banking Position - Where to go from now?

Hi all,

I have been unsuccessful yet despite having a few interviews coming up. What places should I target that are still recruiting? I'm a Junior who has 0 finance experience and I am just looking to get my foot in the door somewhere.

First and foremost, if you have interviews coming up prepare for them. Try your hardest to secure these positions because as time passes fewer and fewer places will be recruiting. If you have the luxury of securing these positions then that's fantastic; however, if you don't, my recommendation would to be keep looking, but aim for smaller boutique firms as their recruiting tends to be off-cycle and often done more towards the summer. Congrats on getting the interviews, and whatever you did to get your foot in the door at these firms, try to do the same for others!

Best of luck!
