from my understanding banks are typically large enough to have their own Hr/recruiting department so HH aren’t used for junior positions
Generally the below three options with emphasis on 1/2 also head hunters dont really get used in IB until the mid associate level
1) network - Use your networks at other firms so that if they know an opening in the firm will forward your resume 2) online applications - BB/EB (not for all EB) dont use HH they have a built out HR team afterall. Will take external applications/ internal referrals from the team 3) HH - Places like dyal co, allen & co, lion tree, qatalyst use headhunters such as SG partners/amity(i think) and etc.
