HELP!! Advice on My Finance Career Development

Graduated from my master for 6 years - couldn't get into banking first but tried really hard and lateralled in. Did banking for 1 year in a smaller bank and then 2 years in the current one but didn't get promoted. I'm in a MM and the team is small - my team didn't promote any analyst in recent years and there is one analyst before me who I thought did really well but didn't get promoted and were asked to leave.

My H1B will expire in Sep 2025 - the firm helped me with my PERM (filed Aug 2024) but they recently noticed me that because I didn't get promoted then they cannot extend my H1B. So now I can only work till Sep 2025 (they said "we still need you to work here till Sep“).

My husband is also filing for PERM and he'll probably get I-140 next year so I can rely on him after he get that, but I might have a gap in my career. I'm now really frustrating and not sure if I should continue banking, or not. I'm not sure if this is something for me, and my boss once told me that my English is not good enough so I hired an English coach myself - halfway through the course and this is what I got. I'm trying to find a new job now (the new employer has a small window to help me extend H1B for 1 year so that there won't be a gap, but the chances are small) but it's been two weeks and I haven't landed any interviews, although I thought I wrote a good resume. Can anyone help me and give me some advice? Should I go to an MBA? Should I quit banking?
