Help - Booth part-time MBA, can't get an interview
Hey guys, hoping to get some resume advice. I've been doing plenty of the networking and sending resumes, but not getting any traction post-coffee chat and resume share, though I think the conversations have gone well. Put this resume together with career services and still can't get any bites, so I assume the content isn't very attention-grabbing. I'm sure the off-cycle recruiting isn't helping, but I'm close to graduation and kind of need to pay the tuition bill that probably all goes to the cost of Fama. Appreciate any insights you have

I'd say that it's 95% because you're off-cycle, and 5% because most of your resume is geared towards like 1/2 product management and 1/2 programming/information systems. Tons of banks are hiring right now for lateral hires, but very few are seeking out inexperienced hires, so it hurts you that a large part of your resume is geared towards stuff that doesn't directly translate to IB.
I'd change it up to make it seem more geared towards investment banking and less towards PM/IT/supply chain. Also, the only personal thing I know about you is that you (used to/possibly still do) play hockey. I'd either change the last personal line to contain more interests than hockey (which you touched on in your undergrad experience), or add a whole extra line to add in more interests.
Last food for thought: if you don't have them on your actual resume, put on the cities you worked + the dates you worked. This breaks up the monotony of your resume and it goes along with the standard template. Also, try to maximize white space by making every bullet point extend to the right margin - this makes a huge difference.
Thanks man, appreciate your thoughts
