Help: Case Study Interview IBD SA
Hi everyone!
I am having a case study interview for CS IBD SA which will be done through call / skype (supposed to be on-site but is rescheduled due to an unexpected event).
The interview will last for 40 minutes and I was told that it does not require business knowledge and that I will be allowed to use calculator (which I find really weird because I was asked to do all calculations by hand for my past interviews)
Can anyone shed a light on what kind of interview I should expect? I was thinking about consulting style cases - but not quite sure though. Any help will be appreciated - thanks in advance!
You will probably be given a mock company that is facing 2-3 business options and you'll be asked to critically analyse the pros and cons of each option to determine which one is the 'best' for the firm. Also, you may (most probably) be asked to do a SWOT or PEST analysis of some-kind and maybe calculate some financial ratios off a balance sheet of some kind.
Thank you so much for the examples @mrvoodoo1" . Really appreciate it!
Can you share a bit about the case interview? Have superday with MS IBD SA coming up and heard there will be a M&A case study (25 minutes to read a 30-page case followed by a 20-minute Q&A session)
What did they asked?
