How much is too persistent when cold mailing bankers?
Recently I emailed a professor who was a VP at BAML, I asked him if I could visit his office to talk about his experiences. When he replied he told me about a program in finance on campus and told me to talk to it's director (Nothing Else). This was pretty much common knowledge since 1/3 of finance students apply for it at my school. I'm assuming he tried to direct me away.
Should I be persistent until he actually says 'No' or 'Yes'?
Sorry for the bad writing.
Or maybe apply to it then follow up and be like hey I applied, thanks, can I ask some things on how to succeed in the industry, etc.
