I've worked on deals anywhere between $20mm transactions at a no name boutqiue to mutli-billion transactions at an EB.
The answer varies greatly depending on the size of the company. Not always, but generally the larger the client, but more sophisticated they are. Many times the clients are sharper than any banker could ever imagine to be.
