Highest Paying Investment Banks / Profit Sharing
Thinking about making the switch back to banking and was looking for an up-to-date and accurate list of banks that either pay the most / have profit sharing. So far the following are on my radar: Q, CVP, PJT, Gugg, Dyal, M Klein, LionTree. I don't know how they stack up so would like some color.
Ardea is up there too
PWP should be on your list. Guggenheim isn't known to be a top payer.
Why is that?
There are threads from recent weeks discussing bonuses this past cycle at both of these banks. PWP paid top of the street, and Guggenheim was disappointing (although they've never been known for top bonuses).
are you the same dude that posted the gugg downhill thread?
gugg bonuses across analysts and associates were near top of street. not to the levels of cvp/pjt, but certainly near top.
How does comp work at these places and how is it different from other firms like Evercore or Moelis?
Prob fairly similar for analysts.
I'm sure there is a no-name boutique somewhere out there that has great profit sharing and none of us has heard of it. Beauty of staying under the radar.
Know someone who joined a 1-person advisory shop as their first job and absolutely loved it. Of course, milage varies and this could have been a terrible experience.
Anecdotally heard Dyal, Q, M. Klein, and CVP above others mentioned but have 0 verification
