Bump for the homies
taco bell or planet fitness
You know anyone running these ?
Not personally but taco bell is a tier 1 brand in the QSR space and, similarly, planet fitness is a leader in the HVLP fitness space. Another emerging brand worth looking into is 7brew Coffee. All have high AUVs and the general ability to scale and print cash if in a decent location / run properly
Do you know how high the barriers to entry are for these franchises? Good luck.
dude, u say you are sick of the finance grind but u want to jump into an even more stressful grind? would recommend u talk to someone who has done this. it is stressful as hell.
Kid you talk a lot for someone that has no idea what they’re talking about
i have a relative who owns franchises so unlike you i actually know what i am talking about. will never understand why people like you get the impulse to comment on topics where it is clear you have zero legitimate perspectives on.
i don't know of many franchises that let you be exempt from weekend work buddy. it is actually the opposite where you are often missing holidays to work. this whole notion of you can leave the business to employees is how most people fail. if you are a mega franchisee that has 100s of franchises, then yes, you probably have the cash to hire the best managers. otherwise, you better be knee deep in your franchises and putting in work as the employees will not be motivated to work as hard. wake up at 10am? dream on buddy.
and i especially LOL'ed at your free man comment. your franchise is for all intents and purposes under orders from the corporates. corporate thinks it might be best to spend tens of thousands to change the menu or revamp aesthetics? your opinion does not matter and you better get ready to spend. rowdy customer or karens causing drama at your business? get your ass down there to clean it up. raw material and labor wages rising? sorry you dont control pricing so eat the smaller margins like a good boy.
OP hm years have you worked in the industry for?
Bro i worked as a fast food manager for 3 years during high school and my early years of college. It is so incredibly stressful, 100%+ turnover, incredibly razor thin margins. Happy to talk more about the fast food space but trust me it’s insanely stressful
I would recommend doing more research on Wingstop
Do what the Mormons do and run crumble cookies
Incredibly trendy and feels like another step in the volatile "new desserts with fun marketing" chain. I think in 3 years this goes the way of self-serve frozen yogurt/smoothie joints.
I know nothing about the financials, but Bubble Tea franchises might be interesting. The COGS are basically next nothing and one cup is now up to $7
COGS next to nothing? What about labor? Food cost? The margin on those teas is probably $1-$2 at best
