Hirevue Nightmares

I completed a hirevue process recently. During the hirevue, my dog went off barking during one of the questions and for another question, my computer (mac) received a FaceTime call and went off with the loud ringing sound. I did everything else fine, but this is really worrying me. What do you guys think? Is it bad enough to ding me?

Did a hirevue for a BB lateral a couple years ago using my phone as my laptop camera wasn’t working for some reason. As I was beginning the last question, I got the 10% battery notification on my iPhone but assumed it was still recording. Thought I gave a very decent 4-5min response to the last question. However, at the end when I went to stop recording (had to “ok” the low battery notification first), I realized right after stopping that the notification had paused recording right at the beginning of the response. So, what the hiring manager probably saw was me hearing the last question, appearing not to have an answer and noping out and ending the interview prematurely. Obviously didn’t hear back. I didn’t follow-up but definitely should have tried.

pro tip: so I just did a hirevue, half way through my second to last q, my browser automatically refreshed. It let me log back in and restarted the q that had been messed up/ So if you horrible bomb one and realize in the middle, refreshing the page my save ur ass
