So I know some of my friends who attend other schools have received emails to schedule phone interviews for HK IBD summer analyst internship positions.
I checked the status of my applications and they're either under consideration or review.
Is anyone else in the same boat? Do they review by schools? And is this the delay a good/bad sign?

Obviously, it is not a good sign but according to my experience, there are some delays. If they don't contact you by the second week of January, then you can start to worry.
I would not give much credence to whatever your online status is. Last summer my online status for most applications never changed from "under review" to anything else....even after interviews and after offers/rejections...not even at the bank where I accepted the SA offer.
