RX is HL’s restructuring division. It’s typically considered one of the three best RX groups on the street, with Evercore and PJT rounding out the other two. HL RX is truly elite.
CF is HL’s M&A and Capital Markets division. It plays in the MM and is the definition of a volume shop. HL has led league tables in total deals for a number of years now. They’re typically sub $1bn in EV, but there are a fair amount of $1bn+ deals. Top coverages are Tech, Industrials, Healthcare, Consumer
FVA is financial and valuation advisory. This is not investment banking. It includes services like transaction advisory, financial due diligence, portfolio valuations, and transaction opinions.
