Houlihan M&A to RX Lateral?
Hey guys,
I'm a current junior and I accepted an offer with Houlihan Lokey for summer 2019. When I interviewed, I did not know that they had a RX group. I just started learning about RX and would be interested in potentially lateraling from M&A to RX. Does anyone have any experience or know people who did so?

Very rare. The two groups act almost as though they are different firms. Never actually heard of someone going FR to CF

Near impossible - had 2-3 friends try, and they all were told flat out no for NYC. Might have a chance for LA or some other office. Only chance would be if your team works alongside rx frequently, but as someone said above, it’s effectively two different firms.
Did they try doing it from SA to FT? What about An to As?
