Houlihan Private Credit Advisory Culture
What is the culture like of this group? Does it differ by office? Have an interview here for next summer and curious if it is better than the brutal culture at Houlihan in corporate finance mentioned across the forum.
Just like banking tbh

Interesting, what is your source? Spoke to an analyst who was saying it was generally better than M&A and a late night was more like 11pm than 3am. Could be a bad analyst with low deal flow
True
I've heard it varies by location.

Bumping this one last time :)
This is a very technical, modeling intensive team, unlike most LevFin / Debt Advsiory teams on the street. Most deals that pass through here are special situations / opportunistic / distressed opportunities.
It is one of the stronger teams within HL, and HL has been investing in the broader Capital Solutions platform very heavily (every team specific bullpen is overflowing).
Hours are intense, but with the upside that the team does minimal pitch work, meaning there are periods of heavy work followed by legitimate downtime as you aren’t staffed on any pitches in between live deal work.
Lots of people on the team with sharp elbows, but surprising amount of juniors have been exiting to MF PC.
Buyer beware.
