Every office I’ve been to was organized by group. Our office this summer had people of all titles under D/MD sit together with no organization. Another bank I interviewed at was organized by title too (all analysts were in cubicles near each other, associates shared offices which were all near each other, and VP+ all had their own offices which were near the offices of others with their title)
