How cooked am I? IB FT recruiting

Have a return at GS AWM but don't want to stay, didn't get interviews from any MBB and now thinking about IB/PE FT. Am I cooked if I start networking now? What firms are yet to open apps? Would really really appreciate any help!

GS AWM is so varied in terms of roles that it's hard to generalize like this.
investing at gsam or more middle office? am or wm side? publics or private if am?

i was in a private investing SA at GSAM and sent out resumes without networking to a couple of places just to see what was out there, semi target college. got interviews at multiple BB/EBs, and a couple of buyside places that had roles related to my SA. keep in mind 2025/ft 2026 looks like a worse market than last year so things may have changed, but you should at least apply.

I'd put GSAM/MSIM investing seats in a weird spot where they are weaker than a MF SA but are saved by the strong brand name of the bank, especially at places where HR runs processes and they may gave you a first round just because they see the magic keywords of goldman sachs and PE/PC etc

EDIT: looked at ur post history and it looks like you're in some middle office role in dallas GS WM. Going to be much harder to recruit for IB FT if so and I'd recommend you doing some AM recruiting but if you want to go to IB internal transfer after 18 months is doable at GS
