How did you get your dream lateral?
Hey fellow wso'ers I have asked this question already on the boards but have yet to truly find someone whose brain I can pick about this. I want to lateral from a MM bank to a top M&A or industry group at a top BB or elite boutique in NYC. Not really just for the exit opps but for the high profile deals, the big city, and yes the exit opps SHOULD I decide I want to switch later in life.
I have used the search fiction extensively but the info is old and the posters have been unreachable. Can someone who successfully lateraled from a mm bank to a top BB or elite boutique please PM me if you are willing to share insight and generally educate me on the process and your experience?
