How did you guys decide which banks to network/apply with priority when you are late to the game? SA 2022

Hello everyone, upcoming junior late to the IB game and somewhat confused for the networking for different bank's SA application. Target school but engineering student. I have a list of banks already but how did you guys decide which ones to network/apply with priority?

The advice that I got before was apply to all of them and talk to as many people as possible. Make sense but this does not look feasible based on limited time and I really do not know which bank to start. I understand that this might be a very dumb question.
