How do interviews with Associates compare with MD interviews?

Upcoming first round is 30 mins with an Associate. I've never had an interview with an Assoc. before so just wondering if I should expect anything different than interviews with VPs/MDs. Obviously every interview is different, but should I expect to see a higher volume of technicals? Anything different I should do in my prep?

I just spoke with 3 Aso earlier this week. The group is known to have a good culture, so luckily none of them were hardos. I have a bit of a non traditional background, so explaining it to each of them took some time. But the technicals I were asked were all related to valuation. One brain teaser at the end.

When I spoke with the MD before the Aso, he actually asked me a depreciation question. The only technical he asked. Really depends I'd say, but in general expect more technicals from Aso's since they want to be sure you can pull your own weight.
