How do MD's move between different banks?
I'm curious how IB MD's change banks? Are there senior-level exec search firms or is it generally based on relationships? Specific examples appreciated!
I hear they network, apply online, do a hirevue and then superday lol. jk.

I do wonder as well, especially with non-competes that sometimes extend upward of 6+ months. Obviously, I'm assuming they can't take any clients either. Interested to hear constructive comments.
