How do you guys get emails for cold calling/emailing?

I have been looking to contact people for entry level financial analyst jobs/internships through cold calling/emailing. I was wondering what techniques people here have. I have been finding out names of people from my school and then using Norbert to verify those emails. Sometimes though with certain places I find it hard to find a verified email. Curious what others are doing.

I don't know where you're looking but most IB/PE firms' websites will have emails of partners or MDs.

If you're willing to stretch that limits, find the website name and use that as the address. Then use the regular email syntax in Google with quotations to pull direct results. For example, if I am looking for someone for John Doe at John Doe's Lumber Co (web address of jdlumber.com), I would go to Google.com and would search the following:

"[email protected]" "[email protected]" "[email protected]" "[email protected]" "[email protected]"

You'll always find some "salesy" websites guessing at e-mails, but don't rely on those. Look for reliable sources. You'll know them when you see them. I've found several e-mails doing this, and I've been asked "how'd you find my e-mail - we use some strict security blah blah blah," but they usually are more impressed than annoyed.

It's kind of interesting sometimes with what you can find. Once found a forum post of an exec looking to buy some crappy used car back in 2006 or so. They are now the CEO of a company with over a billion in revenues.
