How do you know shoes off Ebay are legit?

I am trying to buy a pair of Allen Edmonds dress shoes. They are listed for 325 in stores, but are selling on Ebay for 260. They say they are brand new, and the guy is a power seller with a 99.5 percent rating. How does this guy do it? And how do I know they are real? Thanks in advance, 260 bucks is a decent chunk of change to get ripped off so sorry for the paranoia.

you can never tell when they sneak in the fake ones. And getting money back is a big hassle. Its not worth it you rather buy from a well known website.

$260 is not that great of a price for ebay...seems like you could find them in a store for sale for less if you look around, or much cheaper on ebay. As for determining if ebay clothes are legit, I stick to buying from people with 99% positive feedback and 100+ sales. I've never been ripped off but I believe if you buy using paypal you are protected. Don't take my word for it, though, I'd look it up.

$260 is not a steal off of eBay. It sounds like you're using eBay Express - try the auctions to get what you're looking for.

Re:: Paypal - use your Credit Card through PayPal - its the ultimate line of defense. If something goes wrong, just dispute the charge through your CC and screw over PayPal, eBay, and the seller
