How do you manage current workloads while actively recruiting?

Currently recruiting for M&A roles. The interviewing and case study process obviously becomes time consuming a can impede on your current job. How does everyone manage current workloads and expectations while still actively doing 1-2 hour long interviews and case studies?

Edit: Didn't realize OP was currently working FT. Not sure how to go about that recruiting, have no advice. Going to leave my post up for other prospects if they happen to stumble on this thread. Good luck OP!

Honestly, if you're having a tough time managing your schedule now, in school, banking probably isn't for you. You're going to be working 80-100 hours every week with no end in sight. Would seriously consider not recruiting for banking if you're having trouble now.

The best way to get through it is just to put your head down and grind. Take it one step at a time and just focus on the task at hand

Sorry, I probably should have been clearer. I’m not at school, currently working in corp finance full time.

What I meant was how do you deal with making sure your seniors don’t catch wind of you interviewing for other firms when you’re taking 1-2 hours off every week or couple days to interview with other firms?
