How easy is it to get fired
I was wondering what kinds of things get people fired in IB. I figured it would be a lot easier to get fired in IB compared to other jobs.

Only a 1st year but I feel like unless you’re leaking sensitive information or making a huge fuck up and the client sees you’re fine, there’s the obvious ones that I won’t touch on too
If the market is shit just be the worst performing on the team and you'll be let go
Being let go is not the same thing as being fired.
I would say banking is more secure than most jobs on average at the junior level.
It really depends on a multitude of factors. For example, I recently saw a VP get fired because he threw a mouse at a Director (out of frustration). He was let go later that evening. This probably wouldn't have happened a year ago.
