how feasible is sophomore treasury internship to junior summer IB?
So sophomore IB recruiting did not go well but i was recently offered a treasury / investment management summer role at a nonprofit with ~$500m in capital. to be honest idk the difference between treasury and IM but i know i get exposed to both roles. im pretty sure im taking this because it’s better than no internship but if i want to do IB junior year how would i pivot this experience? Is it hard to explain why I want to move from treasury / IM to IB? Thanks.
