How hard is it to break into IB?
So I recently received an offer from a MM firm. I put in a lot of work, and I know what it took for me. But what about at targets like U Chicago, Wharton, etc.? How much work does it take for these prospects?
Why do you care? You got the offer, no need to be salty about other people. Yes, some people have more access to firms than others, but there is no benefit comparing your experience to theirs.
I am not salty at all actually. I am just curious because I received emails from people that were from targets saying "congrats, the hard work all paid off" etc so I am just curious what it would take them.

For example sure Goldman will take like 10-12 kids from my school but they’ll be 600 who apply. Since they go to a target they’ll all be Atleast halfway smart so you can see how things get dicey
