How important is credit-suisse online tests?
Hey monkeys -- just did the online test (numerical + verbal) & was wondering how important these tests are? I know this is a subjective question, but ball-park would be great.
Extremely important. I am at a super-target and know the person who ran recruiting last year and so did my friend. I got the interviews but the guy told my friend that HR told the guy that my friend couldn't advance to the interview stage because his test score disqualified him. Thus, it's very important.
what’s a target score?
don't know what the target score is but I imagine getting at least 13-14 out of 18 in the math section and similar in English will be nice. The third section doesn't really matter imo.
any idea how badly your friend did? wanna set a lower bound
I think he got somewhere between 9-12 but the point is definitely to take it seriously because once the HR says you are out, you are out (the guy leading it strongly pushed for my friend but nothing happened).
Those tests are crazy important. You can have everything else, but if you fail the test, you’re done for.
Maxed out the tests but didn’t pass to the next phase. No idea why lol.
get 100% doesn't mean you get the interview. You still need referrals and the whole package. On the flip side, if you have the whole package including referrals but bomb the test, then you are out.
