How has the size of their analyst classes changed over the years? Just wanted to get a sense of deal flow/analyst at these bigger, well-known boutiques.

For the Laz advisory practice, the summer class was ~35 interns in 2011, of which a little over 20 were in NYC. Headcount from SA to FT increased slightly this year, so I would guess there's 40-45 FT analysts starting in 2012, of which roughly 28+ will be in NYC.
This also doesn't include other Laz teams like AM, Corp Fin, or Sovereign. There's also the Laz MM and Laz CM classes, but Freres has little day-to-day interaction with either anyway.
