How likely is it going to break into IB without junior year internship?
Currently a sophomore and going to do a more equities account management role for sophomore year summer. Let's just say you start in back office/ GS Controllers your junior year, can you still pivot into Investment Banking?
Should you apply FT after junior year, or apply as a sophomore to IB during your junior year and delay your FT start date?
Would it be smarter to pivot into AWM or ER instead?
At least have a boutique IB internship. Otherwise you really run the risk of not getting in.
