How liquid are banking salaries?
Is the majority of an investment banker's salary paid to them as stock options?

Some senior bankers are partially compensated with stock (however this is usually less desirable). Junior bankers are all cash. Never heard of anyone below VP paid in equity.
^this and depends on the firm. a BB will pay in stock where as elite boutiques/MMs that are private will pay all cash.
