Please refer to the title. Is it acceptable to place a call or send an email after 5 business days // a full week? I was called on the Monday after my Friday superday and told I was still a candidate of interest but it has been a week since that point.

Likely you are on wait list (if such a thing exists - arguable). Depending on yield, you may or may not receive an offer.

You're 'on hold' (aka the waitlist). You should probably follow up to let them know that you're still very interested, and would love to work there. Also, let them know if you have any offers. Could speed things, although that might not necessarily be a good thing.
That really sucks. Out of a class of 10 superday candidates for GCM, how many are usually taken on board for SA spots?
And also, would sending a thank you note to interviewers after so much time be considered a faux pas? Apparently all my interviewers liked me a lot, as per HR phone call, but clearly not enough to give me an instant offer...

Two weeks ago from yesterday, I had a superday with a top MM for SA. I interviewed with three MDs and a director, all of whom told me they would follow up. How much longer should I wait before sending them an e-mail?
