How long to wait for reply?

Had a phone interview last Friday for IBD at a BB. Thought it went well, but I haven't heard back yet.

During the interview, I asked "Is there anything else I can do to clarify my experience or interest?" Interviewer said, "Nope, I think I have a very good picture of you. The only thing for you at this point is to get you to talk to more people here." I sent a thank you email. Interviewer replied, "Was a pleasure. Keep me posted on how things go."

However, I haven't heard back with a rejection or acceptance. How long should this take? Should I ask HR for a response?

That definitely has come to mind, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate at this point in time, if I should email first, or what. I also cannot tell now if I received positive feedback or not... I thought I did, but the fact that I haven't heard back is bad news. Should I call, email, or wait a day or two first?

i would definitely wait longer - these things can take a while, especially after a first round (speaking form personal experience).

if the first round was last friday (2/25) i'd wait until at least next tuesday (3/8) to follow up - and at that point, i'd email before calling.

they clearly seem to have gotten a good impression of you, it just can take them a while to be ready for the next round - they might need to do a bunch more phone screens, or they might be traveling for the next few weeks, or really busy on a deal, etc etc - check in after a week and a bit
