How often do sub 3.5 gpa applicants get an ib internship offer? My gpa is currently 3.4 but go to a good school. From the people who have gotten an offer, what made them stand out and why did you choose these applicants over others despite the low gpa?

Landed an IB offer with a 3.1 at the time. With a 3.4 you still have a shot at MM and if you have decent enough connections then at BBs. Target your recruiting efforts on banks that have alums and are realistic. When I was looking for an offer I didn’t chase after BB or EB because I knew I wasn’t gonna get traction there. Instead focused on MM and boutiques.
