How Prestigious is Working at FT Partners?

I am curious to know what level of prestige should be expected when telling someone in finance that you work at FT partners? In the past, before ftp achieved EB status and had the highest analyst base salary in the industry, no one would’ve even bothered asking this question. Does working at FTP afford the same level of prestige as someone working at GS TMT/Blackstone/Centerview/Thoma Bravo?

"…before ftp achieved EB status" since when is ftp an EB lmao

I'm honestly not sure if this one is a joke. I think the prospects are actually starting to believe it is an EB. To OP, not sure if you're joking, but in case you aren't, FTP isn't an EB

You can probably make $200k+ as a first year but the flip side of that is 95% of the first year class quit before bonuses

They're so prestigious that Ralph Lauren himself will walk past the office and take a bow, so prestigious that Henry Kravis himself will often ride to the top floor just to scope out new talent for his MF, so prestigious that Jerome Powell will come in and ask senior bankers for advice on his third marriage, so prestigious that it has often been referred to by a select number of individuals as "Paradise."

Obviously someone has nothing better to do than create fake accounts to post this garbage.  I'm a former employee and I can tell you that all the FT bashing is total nonsense.  They kill it in their sector and work life balance is actually pretty chill and comp is off the charts.  So, too bad some of you seem fairly jealous it is actually a laughable concept of trying to lie about a firm and now giving it total notoriety LOL.  Legend.
