How screwed am I with a 3.3 GPA for Toronto IB?

I just finished my first year at Western University in Canada and I’m targeting investment banking.

My GPA is a 3.3, and I’ve been overthinking a lot because I know it’s not where it should be for IB recruiting. I’m genuinely serious about breaking in, but the GPA has been stressing me out to the point where I’m having trouble staying productive.

Realistically, if I network aggressively and prepare well, do I still have a shot at getting interviews at the Globals or Big 5 banks in Canada?

Would appreciate any honest advice.

realistically? no since if you stay at a 3.3 you probably aren't maintaining AEO/getting into ivey as a non AEO and western without Ivey is not a target

possibly? yeah if your daddy is connected but even the nepos in toronto have good gpas lol

i say this with as much love and compassion as i can but hit the books son
