How the IB application process works

I am currently working as a rising Junior in WM at a BB bank (GS/MS/JPM), and am trying to move over to IB for my Junior summer. I have been reaching out to individuals at numerous banks, but at some banks I just don't have connections with at all. Also have strong GPA 3.7, and investment club experience.

Because I go to a non-target how does the application process really work in detail. I will be applying online but I feel like that's a total crap shoot and they don't really hire anyone from online.

Thoughts on landing phone interviews and then super day interviews would be greatly appreciated.
