Macroeconomic Question (Originally Posted: 06/20/2012)
What kind of company should one write an equity research report on?
Like what reasons should someone have for writing a report on Company XYZ?
I'm trying to decide what to write an initiation report on. Could someone help? I was thinking Caribou, but everyone covers that, and it's not like there's something that most analysts are missing that I could pick up on...
Thanks! Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated!
I'd be interested in a report on JCI or John Deere (DE). Are you looking for less well known companies to initiate coverage?
How about MTG?
Thanks, Patrick
Where is your macro econ question?
Just do a quick LM/IS curve and theres where your answer will be. If not, try the ricardian model.
