How to determine bank culture?
I was wondering if there was any specific way to get a feel for bank/group culture? With everything being virtual, it's very hard to get a sense of what's truly going on. Every person from every bank says the same exact things.
Are there any specific questions I should ask? What should I do?
You just gotta find the one honest analyst - I tell every prospect I meet how sweaty the shop is
Otherwise I think there was a post on litquidity which translated lingo (eg. ‘entrepreneural’) into their actual meanings
During a coffee chat I was asked what are some defining features of my team and then asked what the pros and cons of each were. Personally thought it was a good question and probably answered culture to an extent. For example, lean deal teams. Pro: getting a ton of experience and exposure. Con: likely to work more and have limited backup/coverage. Find a non aggressive way to ask about cons... when ppl are prompted to speak negatively this become clear
Voluptatem aperiam deserunt sint. Vel dolorum velit accusamus corporis. Dolores nostrum dolor et molestias.
